There were a ton of people at the Louvre, so we had to stand in line for a good 30 minutes or so to get our tickets and get inside. We had to go see the Mona Lisa, so that's what we did first. The crowd in front of the Mona Lisa was crazy, and there was a lot of pushing, and elbowing. We tried to get a selfie, but it crowded and uncomfortable, and eventually we just gave up and moved on.
We enjoyed looking at other paintings and sculptures and just taking in everything we were looking at. I would say we spent a good two hours here, and then we ate lunch at the museum.
Next, we headed to the Eiffel Tower. It was a good mile walk to the Eiffel tower, but the weather was pretty nice, so we just enjoyed our walk. When we got to the Eiffel tower, we enjoyed sitting on the green grass in the front of the tower, and took our selfies and just relaxed for a while.
Then, we went to the Eiffel Tower Tour. We had a ticket for 3:30pm, and we got to take the elevator to the middle of the tower, and then eventually to the top of the tower. It was really cool to go to the top. We had beautiful sights to see, and we got to go like 1000 feet up in the air. It was a little windy and chilly up on top of the tower, but it was still really cool.
Once we got really cold, we headed back down. We found an Italian Restaurant for supper, and it was delicious. Then we walked back to our hotel, grabbed a bottle of wine, and relaxed in our apartment. We enjoyed some face-timing with the kids, and then called it a night.
What an amazing day in Paris!
