Hawaii Part One

After 3 months of eager anticipation, our honeymoon finally arrived. On the morning of November 3, John and I woke up at 4:00 am to make our flight out of Sioux Falls at 6:00 am. We flew for an hour to Chicago and then flew from Chicago to Honolulu for 8 and a half hours. Let me tell you. being on a plane for almost 9 hours straight was not the most enjoyable thing, but there were movies to watch and books to read. We reached Honolulu at 6 pm our time, but 1 pm Hawaiian time. That five hour time difference was a killer.  The airport at Honolulu was an open airport with palm trees, it was beautiful.

 We still had to make our final flight over to Maui. We arrived in Maui at about 4 pm Hawaiian time (9 pm our time). We basically had an entire day of traveling to get to Maui. But it was so worth it. We got our rental car, checked into our hotel, and did a little bit of exploring before passing out from exhaustion. We went to bed very excited about the week to come :D
